The Great Thanksgiving Listen 2016
The Great Thanksgiving Listen is a national education project from StoryCorps that empowers high school students to create an oral history of the contemporary United States by recording an interview with an elder over Thanksgiving weekend using the StoryCorps App.
Interviews will be entered into the Library of Congress where they will become an invaluable resource for future historians and a priceless piece of personal history for families.
Last year, students from thousands of high schools from all 50 States created more than 50,000 recordings. StoryCorps wants to hear from students and their families here in Hawaii.
