Classical Pacific, Monday, February 19, 2018: The Letter H

A theme is a convention that allows me to play you a range of music from various periods, genres, composers, etc. Today's theme is The Letter H, chosen randomly from the alphabet. Once I make a choice, I work to curate a listening experience for you that's interesting, balanced musically, and possibly educational in a small way. The works I've chosen span the years from 1726 to 2015, although I'm not playing them in order of date, and were composed by Paul Hindemith, Franz Joseph Haydn, Gao Hong, Barbara Harbach, Johann Nepomak Hummel, Englebert Humperdinck, Georg Friedrich Handel, Bernard Hermann, Lou Harrison, and John Halvorsen.
