Last week prosecutors from around the world met in Honolulu with a single agenda item: how to better network global trafficking cases to increase the chances of stopping trafficking in their jurisdictions. This past summer Hawaii became the last state to ban sex trafficking... still those who help trafficked minors heal from their experiences say those kids need more attention to make their young lives whole. Jessica Munoz is a nurse practitioner and the founder of the nonprofit Ho’ola Na Pua, an organization focused on the renewal of trafficked girls.
