School principals are often called upon to make unpopular decisions and they’re the court of last resort for problems at the schools. That can make them into targets.  Theirs is a job that is made more difficult by the explosion of social media. In at least three recent incidents in Hawaii, school principals have been the target of online petitions calling for their resignation. Has the practice of anonymous complaining about school administrators gotten out of hand?   Catherine Payne is the retired principal of Farrington High School, and she joined the show to voice her concerns.

Attorneys have also been cautioned against working with clients who want to set up dispensaries and this has led to an impasse that satisfies no one. The Hawaii Supreme Court has asked for public comment on the issue, and Scott Williams, a consultant to would be operators of marijuana dispensaries, has plenty to say on the matter.
