The progress of the lava flow on the Big Island of Hawai‘i has slowed.  It’s moved more than ten miles since it began its current flow on June 27th. And as it lingers outside P?hoa town, local residents are sharing memories about the island’s last lava flow that wiped out a town.  HPR’s Sherry Bracken reports.
