According to the Department of Health, Hawaii has the highest rate of hepatitis B in the country. Health officials say it’s related to the high concentration of Asians and Pacific Islanders living in the Aloha state. HPR’s Molly Solomon reports on efforts to raise awareness.

For more information on hepatitis B or for a list of free hepatitis testing, visit Hep Free Hawaii and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
