Helping Hand - September 18, 2015 - complete interview with ATRC

This week we’re pleased to have a returning guest on Helping Hand: the Assistive Technology Resource Centers of Hawai'i. ATRC is a non-profit whose mission is to link people with technology; their programs are geared to educate individuals with disabilities and their friends and family members, professionals, and anyone else interested in disabilities. ATRC is the State of Hawai'i's designated Assistive Technology Act agency, and we welcome back Barbara Fischlowitz-Leong, ATRC Executive Director.

Helping Hand is a weekly feature on HPR1 stations each Friday and online here. Helping Hand puts the spotlight on a topic, organization or event that helps the disabled and other folks who are among the most vulnerable in the community with All Things Considered local Honolulu Host Dave Lawrence.
