Helping Hand - June 15, 2018 complete interview Dental Lifeline Network

This week on Helping Hand, join HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence for a conversation with Dental Lifeline Network, and one of their volunteer dentists, Dr. Rohinton Patel, Director of Hawaii Pacific Dental Group. Dental Lifeline Network is a national nonprofit providing access to dental care and education for people who cannot afford it and have a permanent disability, or, are elderly, age 65 or older, or, who are medically fragile. They’re also looking for other talented dentists and dental labs to join their team and encouraging people to have their dentist take a look at the site, willyouseeone.org.

Helping Hand is a weekly feature airing statewide on HPR1 stations each Friday as part of our afternoon drive broadcast of All Things Considered, and then appearing online here, where all of our Helping Hand segments and resources are archived online. Helping Hand puts the spotlight on an organization, topic or event that offers assistance to people with disabilities and others among the most vulnerable.
