Helping Hand - September 4, 2015 complete interview with MDA Hawai'i

This week on Helping Hand we have a returning guest: the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Hawai’i Chapter. We’ll learn about their mission to work toward curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases, and about the services they offer in the areas of health care, advocacy and education. We’ll also hear about some important fundraisers coming up as we welcome our guest, Executive Director of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Hawai’i Chapter, Adrianna O’Donnell.

Helping Hand is a weekly feature that airs Fridays during the statewide afternoon drive airing of All Things Considered, and also appears online here. Each Friday afternoon, Helping Hand gives visibility to organizations, events and topics that offer assistance to the disabled and other folks among the most vulnerable in the community with local All Things Considered Honolulu Host Dave Lawrence.
