Helping Hand - March 13, 2015 complete interview with Hawai'i Red Cross

Helping Hand is a weekly feature on HPR1 stations statewide and online at hawaiipublicradio.org in our growing online directory of resources. Each Friday afternoon at 5:30 as part of All Things Considered, Helping Hand puts the spotlight on an organization or event in the community that offers assistance to the disabled and other folks in need with HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence. This week we’re learning about some of the ways the Red Cross is helping out folks in need across the Aloha State. Our returning guest today is Coralie Matayoshi, CEO of the Hawai’i Red Cross.

This month is Red Cross Month, so our segment today highlights many ways folks can help the Red Cross by taking classes, volunteering in a variety of ways, taking advantages of offers that assist them and many other related topics.
