Helping Hand - May 9, 2014 full interview with Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific

Helping Hand is a weekly feature on HPR each Friday afternoon with All Things Considered host Dave Lawrence. Each Friday at 5:30pm, we put the spotlight on an organization or event in the community that offers assistance to folks in need. This week we’re learning about Rehabilitation Hospital of the Pacific.

According to their website, rehabhospital.org, Rehab Hospital of the Pacific provides patient care services for those with physical and cognitive disabilities in Hawai`i and the Pacific. They go on to note that for folks who have suffered a severe stroke or a brain injury from an accident, their programs are tailored to their medical and therapy needs, with a staff of physicians, nurses and therapists that combine the latest technology with an interdisciplinary team approach to rehabilitation. Our guest Rehab Hospital of the Pacific’s Director of Community Development, Chris Mausolf.
