Kanikapila Sunday features three hours of Great Hawaiian Music, including contemporary, traditional and hapa haole songs. You'll also hear slack key guitar and `ukulele instrumentals. Plus, the Kanikapila Sunday Classic! Tune in every Sunday with host Derrick Malama from 1:00-4:00 PM Hawai`i Time on HPR-1.

In Hour One, you'll hear a song from Kuana Torres Kahele's latest album in his Music for the Hawaiian Islands series. He honors Molokai in 'Aina Momona (Abundant Land).

In Hour Three, guitarist Jeff Peterson talks about his upcoming concert with the Hawai'i Symphony on December 10. He composed a concerto entitled 'Malama 'Aina' and he'll perform some of it.

Plus, enjoy some holiday music sprinkled throughout the show from the Brothers Cazimero, Amy Hanaiali'i, Jeff Rasmussen & Robi Kahakalau, the Sons of Hawai'i, Henry Kapono, and a song that Raiatea Helm recorded exclusively for Kanikapila Sunday!
