Town Square: Revisiting Tyke the Elephant

  The story of Tyke the circus elephant is the subject of a new documentary screening in Hawai‘i.  Her rampage from Blaisdell Center through Kaka‘ako in 1994 ended in 87 bullets and a lethal injection - but has the lesson of Tyke ended for Hawai‘i?  Despite a lot of work over 20 years, there is still no ban on performing animals. We’ll talk about it.
