Working in Hawai‘i: One Veteran’s Story

noe tanigawa

Here in Hawai‘i, we’ve got a lot of veterans to celebrate.  Military veterans comprise over eleven percent of the population.  Overall, their unemployment rate is about the same as other residents though experts think younger vets, 18-24 match the national average of over twenty percent unemployed.  HPR’sNoeTanigawa looks at challenges and and one veteran’s journey to success.

Craig Bolling is proud and thankful to be a US Vets graduate.  He says many counselors and workers at Barbers Point go above and beyond to assist veterans there.  Craig mentioned Dr. Scott, Dean, Dimples, Bobby, and the troublemakers, Anthony, Andrea, and Marsha.  Thank you all and the many others at US Vets who are serving the whole community with your efforts.
