Bytemarks Cafe is a one-hour radio magazine that showcases the innovation and creativity in Hawaii's tech community. Hosted by geeks in residence Burt Lum and Ryan Ozawa, program's purpose is to raise awareness of the tech economy and to engage the listener in the discussion. The show encourages two-way conversation through audience call-ins, emails and blog comments. Bytemarks Cafe will leverage the Internet and social media technologies to extend the conversation well beyond the one-hour time slot with the intent of building and nurturing this vibrant and vital community in Hawaii. Both Burt Lum and Ryan Ozawa have earned the title "geek."

  We’ll talk about an initiative from the White House called Computer Science for All.  In the CS for All announcements, President Obama recognized Hawaii. We’ll talk to two teachers in the Dept of Education who are making this a reality.
