This week on Helping Hand, HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence speaks with Barbara Fischlowitz-Leong, President and CEO of the Assistive Technology Resource Centers of Hawaii, or the ATRC. It’s week two of organizations that can offer critical resources to people with disabilities and often field difficult questions regarding trying to get specific services or assistance with mobility challenges.

This week on Helping Hand we’re excited to have the Assistive Technology Resource Centers of Hawaii returning to ATC. Among many services and resources, the nonprofit links the disabled with adaptive technology, offers programs geared to educate individuals with disabilities, friends and family members and professionals, and HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence speaks with Barbara Fischlowitz-Leong, ATRC President and CEO.

This week we’re pleased to have a returning guest on Helping Hand: the Assistive Technology Resource Centers of Hawai'i. ATRC is a non-profit whose mission is to link people with technology; their programs are geared to educate individuals with disabilities and their friends and family members, professionals, and anyone else interested in disabilities. ATRC is the State of Hawai'i's designated Assistive Technology Act agency, and we welcome back Barbara Fischlowitz-Leong, ATRC Executive Director.
