Become an HPR Volunteer!

HPR relies on volunteers for a variety of tasks and projects such as answering telephones during pledge drives, stuffing mailers, or representing HPR at community events, lectures, performances and concerts.

As a volunteer, you'll get to see our on-air studios, meet like-minded people who share your passion for public radio, and participate in the life of the station.

Twice a year, more than 300 station enthusiasts gather in our studios for our Fall & Spring drives. Volunteers help with answering phones, meal prep, data entry, and much more!

You can find more Information about Pledge Drive Volunteering  here. (Insert Info Sheet)

To become a volunteer or for more information, call Sarah Bauer at (808) 955-8821 or email sbauer@hawaiipublicradio.org.

Volunteer opportunities will be matched to your interest area, availability and skill sets. You may volunteer as many or as few times a year as you would like; we welcome and appreciate any hours you have to donate to our services.
