Hawai‘i teachers and education officials are back from a trip in New Zealand. They were there alongside the voyaging canoes H?k?le‘a and Hikianalia for the first ever M?lamaHonua Education Summit. The focus of the trip was how to incorporate innovation and indigenous knowledge into the classroom. HPR’s Molly Solomon has more as part of our ongoing series, H?k?le‘a: Voyage of Aloha.

H?k?le‘a will remain in New Zealand for the next few weeks, before departing for Australia.
