This week H?k?le‘a sets sail for Brazil. The 4,200 nautical mile journey is the longest leg yet and will be the first time the voyaging canoe travels across the Atlantic Ocean. HPR’s Molly Solomon checked in with H?k?le‘a navigator Kaleo Wong as part of our ongoing series H?k?le‘a Voyage of Aloha.

Weather permitting, H?k?le‘a is expected to arrive in Brazil at the end of January.
