Pay Raises for DOE Administrators: Corey Rosenlee
This morning the Board of Education will consider a request from Superintendent Kathryn Matayoshi. The total amount involved would amount to a little more than 143 thousand dollars. So how are teachers reacting to the ask?

For 35 years now, Hawaii’s Greek families have put on a festival that has become an end-of-summer tradition; Regina Mass is one of its volunteer coordinators.

Like all places that lie at the end of a long and winding road, it has developed its own character without undue influence from the outside world, and the things that make Hana special are being celebrated this weekend at the Hana Cultural Center & Museum’s 18th Annual Ho’olaule’a.
