Dr. Peter Davies has been attending community meetings and providing testimony to lawmakers.  He is the independent expert cited in GMOAnswers.com, a website funded by the members of The Council for Biotechnology Information, which includes BASF, Bayer Crop Science, Dow AgroSciences, DuPont, Monsanto Company and Syngenta.

Center for Food Safety (CFS) is a national non-profit public interest and environmental advocacy organization working to protect human health and the environment.  They support organic and other forms of sustainable agriculture.
