Honolulu rock act Kings of Spade have been on a mission, and guitarist Jessie Savio told HPR All Things Considered Host Dave Lawrence about it. The band have taken their sound to the mainland for numerous tours, and even onto Europe, including an unusual number of outings with heavy prog rock legends King's X. With two albums worth of material to draw from, Kings of Spade will open at the Republik Saturday for modern rockers Halestorm, whose vocalist Lzzy Hale (yes, that is the spelling) we'll speak with tomorrow.
