Hokulea crew glimpse land along the coast of South Africa for the first time.

Halfway around the world: that’s how far the voyaging canoe H?k?le‘a has traveled since it left the islands last year. The canoe is now making its way down the coast of South Africa toward Cape Town. We caught up with crew member Billy Richards as part of our ongoing series, H?k?le‘a: Voyage of Aloha.
