Hawai?i County Council Moves to Regulate Short Term Rentals

Hawai?i County is the only county in the state without some form of restriction on temporary vacation rentals. Last week, County Councilmembers introduced Bill 108 – a measure that would regulate how and where properties can be rented short term.

The Conversation's Catherine Cruz spoke with Councilmembers Karen Eoff and Dru Kanuha who co-authored the bill last week.
