A new H?k?le‘a crew recently left Darwin, Australia, entering the Indian Ocean for the first time. The voyaging canoe is now on its way to Bali, Indonesia. HPR’s Molly Solomon caught up with apprentice navigator Jenna Ishii as part of our ongoing series, H?k?le‘a: Voyage of Aloha.

Hokulea is expected to reach Bali in early August.
