Hokulea Faces Challenging Weather on Sail to Mauritius

Voyaging canoe H?k?le‘a has departed Cocos Keeling Islands. It’s now on a non-stop sail across the Indian Ocean to the island of Mauritius, just East of Madagascar.  HPR’s Molly Solomon caught up with the crew before they left, as part of our ongoing series H?k?le‘a: Voyage of Aloha.

H?k?le‘a expects to reach Mauritius in the next 20 days, weather permitting.
