Raiatea Helm’s Gift for the Holiday Season

Raiatea Helm Records
Raiatea Helm Records

Vocalist Raiatea Helm has released a new “mini” CD for the holidays called “Ave Maria.” It features three songs, and proceeds from the sale benefit her Hawaiian Music Foundation for youth education and the Catholic Church’s Office for Social Ministry, which administers to Hawaii’s poor. Raiatea says she dedicated her rendition of “Ave Maria” to her late grandmother.

The other songs on “Ave Maria” are “Amazing Grace” and “Kimo Henderson Hula.” The CD is available at the Honolulu Diocese Downtown Chancery, 1184 Bishop St., next to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace. It’s also available by mail order for $23.95 at Spotlight Productions LLC, P.O. Box 37902, Honolulu, HI  96837.
