Leaders of the hotel workers union Untie Here! Local 5 met with management of five hotels owned by Kyo-Ya over the weekend to try and bring an end to a four week worker strike. Some progress was made on issues pertaining to job security, but matters of compensation, benefits, and work load still remain unsettled.
